life has been so crazy!

It has been a little while since I last posted anything, with good reason though. Life has just been out of control until just a few days ago! As you all know, we were in St. Louis Missouri while Scott was working for Pinnacle Security selling systems. We dropped everything to take a chance and go out there basically on a whim. Scott left his job at Human Voice and I left my job at the Preschool. We were gone for a total of 6 weeks. We liked Missouri ok, but it had its really hard time too. We discovered very quickly that this kind of job was kind of diffiuclt to do if you are a really honest person. Granted there a few people who can sell without compromissing their integrity, but for most of the guys out there, and the managers, they get pretty desensitized to how much they jump the gun, "assume the sale" and basically trample other people to come out on top; and for us we just so no way around it. We didnt like the atmosphere, the drama, the general way of living there. We weren't making the money. It was depressing for him to have to go out everyday, work his bum off, and have nothing to show for it. It was depressing for me to lay around all day, doing nothing, not feeling motivated or inspired in anyway, and then spend more time laying arouind when Scott got home cause he was so tired.

We decided to go home. We made an ultimatum a week before, if he sold one or less we were going to cut our losses and go home. That was put into action the day after the 4th of July. We were grateful to be helped by his kind parents get a little more on track financially, and we made it back to Utah safely! We stopped in Colorado on the way for a day and spent it with my family. We got to visit with my sister Rach who has lost so much weight! WOOHOO! way to go! and then kept driving to Utah. I can honestly say I have never been so excited and so happy to be home. I felt like I belonged there and finally felt comfortable, and not hot and miserable! Im so happy I can't even tell you. We have been busy here since we got back just getting back into the swing of things. Scott got his job back which is such a blessings, and I get my Pre-K class back in August so until then I applied at Macy's cosmetics department and have an interview next week. We had to unpack and we also had a lot of activites with friends that we have done as soon as we came back, including going to natural hot springs in the mountains in Springville, FHE activities involving Nacho Libre and Oatmeal cookies, and we have a lot to look forward to coming up. Tubing Provo River Saturday, Im teaching in Releif Society and a BBQ with my extended family Sunday, and have a month of fun activities coming up, like Pioneer day party at the bishops house, BBQ party for my work, and ward camp-out. SO fun!

Im so happy to be back, in our home, around our friends and people we love. We excited for all the fun things coming up and are glad we get to be here and enjoy it. There is truly no place like home. :)

p.s. that little compadre I was talking about in my last post? her name is Stinkerella, and I am in love.
